The State Economic Monitor previously used a different methodology for inflation (inflated historical nominal dollars) that did not match the Bureau of Economic Analysis methodology (deflated current nominal dollars). On June 15, 2020, we updated the historical gross domestic product data using the Bureau of Economic Analysis's methodology of deflated current nominal dollars, and we will continue to use that methodology going forward.
